HEROtsc Environmental Commitment

HEROtsc is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our business activities.

Our policy objectives are:

• reduce consumption of energy and raw materials,
• eliminate waste generation where possible,
• reduce, re-use and recycle in working with our suppliers and partners to reduce environmental impacts from our supply chain,
• integrate environmental management with our business decision-making.

To this end we aim to reduce our absolute CO2 emissions from gas and electricity consumption; reduce our water consumption by 20%, and also to reduce our waste to landfill by 20%.

The HEROtsc Chief Executive Officer is ultimately accountable for the company's environmental performance, with an Environmental Committee responsible for the implementation of our environmental policy and fulfilling our target and objectives.

HEROtsc also aim to be ISO14001 compliant by 2010. In the interim, our environmental management system will produce regular performance reports to be reviewed by the Environmental Committee.

HEROtsc will also publish our carbon footprint annually.

Our Carbon footprints include all scopes and are externally verified and available to the public.

At HEROtsc Kilmarnock, we are improving the efficiency of our lighting schemes and controls, our heating ventilation and air conditioning systems and controls, and reducing water wastage.
