HEROtsc GIVE £1000 DONATION TO BARNARDO'S

HEROtsc, Scotland’s largest contact centre company has made a £1000 Xmas donation to children’s charity Barnardo's.

Rather than spend on traditional Christmas cards to customers and clients, the contact centre company sent an e-card this week, explaining that the money was instead being donated to the charity and encouraging others to support it as well.

With their UK operations in seven Scottish sites - Falkirk, Greenock, Aviemore, Kilmarnock, Erskine, Rothesay and Dunoon – plus Yorkshire’s Dearne Valley, HEROtsc specifically chose Barnardo's because of their work in areas where the company have sites.

“This is the ideal charity for a company like HEROtsc to support,” says CEO David Turner. “Barnardo's have local operations in all the regions where we work and the money we send will be used in these specific areas.

“It is a fantastic charity, doing essential work in these difficult times and we, as a company, are proud to support that.

“I hope others who receive our e-card act in a similar way.”

Speaking for the charity, Michael Hodgson said: “We really appreciate this splendid gesture from HEROtsc, particularly at this time of year.”
