Simply the Best of the Best!

IT'S now official. HEROtsc are not simply the best ... we are the best of the best – as voted by the judges of Central Scotland's most prestigious business awards.

We already knew we had been short-listed with three other companies for the "Best Large Business" category in the Business Awards run at the end of May by the Falkirk Herald – the local paper of our Larbert site.

As the awards were presented, the HEROtsc delegation, comprising CEO David Turner and representatives from the Larbert staff and the site's client Sky, were delighted to learn they had won their category – and there was more good news to come. The judges then announced they would be making a best-of-the-best presentation to one of the category winners – and HEROtsc triumphed again winning the Blue Riband award for the Most Outstanding Business Achievement of the year in 2010.

The remarkable turnaround in the last 12 months of HEROtsc's Larbert operation has already won praise from all sections of the community – from politicians to the media. Now the business community has paid tribute to the way the company and staff rallied to the potential loss of 300 jobs by not only landing new client Sky to save the jobs but also quickly growing employment numbers from their previous levels.
David Turner said "I am thrilled for all our people in Larbert and our client Sky. These awards are a real recognition of their endeavours, hard work and professionalism through a year of significant change.

"This was a great night for our client and everyone involved in the Larbert work we do for Sky – and it is important we celebrate the success of our colleagues. "However what makes it extra special for me is I see equally innovative levels of effort and attainment of excellence at all our sites throughout our estate. "So well done and congratulations to everyone in Larbert. And a big thanks to all in the HEROtsc estate for making a real difference for our clients and their customers."

These new accolades are the latest in a long line of awards ands recognitions achieved by the company and its various operations in previous years.

And they won't be the last.

Over the coming weeks we will submit a further eight awards submissions to the national industry events at European Call Centre Awards, National Customer Contact Association Awards and the National Outsourcing Association Awards.
